There will be squad lunch at clementi this friday, at 2:30pm.

For ppl who are in gay schools which keep you in their stupid cage till 1 plus, you can just dun go nh and go straight for our nice squad lunch :D

For smart ppl who made the right choices and went to the right schools (like me), pls meet at nh outside np room around 2. You guys can also meet earlier, i dun care.

The dear me, who was on the verge of completing the booking, had agreed on the verdict (along with polar) to stop whatever i was doing due to the overwhelmingly warm and enthusiastic response that we have received. I still find it hard to believe, but yes, three and a half years has just zoomed pass like that. I don't have much to say, but i sincerely hope that 10 years down the road when we call for a gathering, it wouldn't just be one or two or the usual few turning up, but rather, every single person who was part of the squad which had 27 people falling in together 10years back would come together and acknowledge that hey, we're still friends.

Wholeheartedly, i wish all of you all the best for your future endeavours.

Oh wow! I finally managed to figure out how to actually post here, turns out i've been signing in at the wrong place lol.

Well, not here to bash but to give my(or our) heartfelt thanks to our affable, cordial, congenial, amicable... (insert suitable vocab) SENIORS! I mean NCOs 0708. Aw, i cant thank you guys enough, esp our ics. We weren't great, but they still gave their all for us.

In the past, aha, i really dreaded np(stereotypical junior, yes i was). It was always like, 'urgh! FRIDAY! WHY DO FRIDAYS COME SO SOON?!' and it gets to 2pm, i start to get nervous and my heartrate goes up *sweatdrop* no kidding, i meant i ain't exaggerating. I'm surprised i didn't quit, nah, i ain't one to quit that easily. Hm, the first day of np was all a lie XD i mean it was pure games and fun remember? Yah, then people started quitting after the first drill session blah blah. lol cause i was all enthusiastic and shouting my face off during pt *smug look* the ics made me timer. Not a good choice apparently, i can hardly multi-task. XD hey, but i haz volume okay. My point is, I WAS SCARED OF NP. WTF!

Well, so came sec 3, and we finally started to bond (with me realising that 'wow, i didn't know that squadmate existed!!) stuff like that. Ah, then idk why, with the awesome previous batch of ncos, the hyperventilation(okay i exaggerated) ceased. I reckon it was cause parades we more enjoyable and the ics were genuine in helping us to improve, like esp tyt. *waves* what's the big deal is that i was starting to look forward (WOW.XD.OMGWTFBBQ!) to parades and all. Yes, this screams 'CLICHE' but it's true, 120%. I'm not kidding, i am willing to dedicate the first piece of music i learn to play with the violin for you guys! (if i ever get to learn it D: i'm listening to david garrett you know, he's awesome) Yes, im not kidding in any way, though i may exaggerate, ah, it's a hobby.
At least for me it is, but im sure the others share my sentiments.

Some proverb says 'Gratitude is the least of the virtues, but ingratitude the worst of the vices' , thus i do here and now, sincerely and solemly thank our seniors who gave me a wonderous time and a pieca memory to keep in my secret stash. (wtf i sound like some pervo) Not to forget mdm stella. yeah i'd have to say i didnt really have the best impression of you initially, but after nco-ship, even the blind could see the sweat and blood(lol exaggeration) you put in for us. No one reads and amends proposals as well as you do it, such merticulous work and effort~ nyan, you get me. We really give our heartfelt thanks. Plus a couple of others, like sir edwin and the new HO, only he gives suggestions during promos XD not a bad thing really. Yah, sir edwin, we understand your care lol, really. All the work and contributions you've made WILL NOT GO UNSEEN AND UNAPPRECIATED! (yes your kind emails, yes)

Wow we are going to have our very nice ORD on this Satuday! Aren't all of you excited?
Well, at least I AM NOT EXCITED...
Cause there are going to be only POP and buffet... can't really blame anyone, at least it is better than the one that was supposed to be on Friday.
But I suggest that all of us should really just wear our full-u, with unpolished boots and only the nametag worn on our shirt :D
hmm... they can't really blame us can they? The ORD is directly after common test week and Prelim is in less than a month time..
if not for the "legendary" $800 dollars buffet, i really won't want to go to this "ORD" ...

okay want to post and make you guys read and also, cry(just kidding).

okay well... a few reasons why i wanna post:
1. Bored and nth else btr to do.
2. Can't sleep.
3. Listened to songs and thought back of the great times we had together.
4. Went to see some photos and thought back of the great times again.

okay so yea... time goes pretty fast uh? we are sec 4s alr. can anyone still rmb our first parade? when our ICs are cpl valentino and sgt sujun. haha the days when we parade, dismissed, go home by ourselves. those were the np is neutral days...

okay then next was when lance huiyu took our squad. hmm the days when we were super lag in our syllabus and promo was coming. haha we still went to lance huiyu's hse yea? haha. we werent really close yet at that point of time, okay sec 2.

lance stella and sgt jieheng took us. well, we understood the true meaning of pon alr uh? haha.

2nd half. a turning point i guess. cpl junwee and cpl amanda ang took over. we were like yea try to go for parades alr? i still rmb the times when we get punished by cpl yanting during drills session. haha i tink that was a everytime thing lol.

hmm then the hols. events came flowing to us. courses(esp the cd course) and open hse. haha some of us camped @ mac for hours, just to plan. haha.

sec 3. haha. the days where we bonded the most... sgt yanting and sgt kelvin took over. more responsibilities came by and we were yea doing more things together. haha i guess the june hols were the days we spent more time together than spending it with our fams.

all the camps, maybe the one on the integrated trip. haha the eagle ranch all those. we were helping each other, doing funny things as a squad, laughing, talking abt coloured stuff in the bus, shopping XD, helping each other to get through that super small cave. haha i still rmb jerald wants huey jie to be behind instead cos he was scared. lol if you guys rmb him scared lol. bonded as a squad alr, we went on to NCO-ship.

well, NCO-ship was definitely, not smooth sailing. we cheer each other up, got into conflicts, arguments, all sorts. ORD'08 was our first big thing. well, we learnt our lesson and moved on strongly. the fun came with NATevent1. all those planning and fun. then it was the annual camp.

planning below huey jie's hse block and all those advance party stuff, yea we had hard times, we helped, argued. but yea we stayed up late just to discuss and talk and gossip. hmm squad chalet. haha the whole night under the rain and cycling. that's part of the fun yea. we were too tired and went home aft we booked out lol. k then all the hols stuff and on to sec 4 life.

haha nth much of planning left. just parades. haha i was very grateful when the squad sang the happy birthday song to me, like when it's alr very late aft debrief and everyone was so tired. i still rmb it was outside SAC. haha thanks a lot ppl. then it was polar's NATevent2. we did pretty well i guess... and okay now. work on to the BIG 'O' peeps. 5 more months. i believe we can all do it. let's mug. haha.

okay i guess the squad is special to everyone of us. still rmb the days we went for concerts like the zhou hua jian's one? and the movies that we went? haha. of cos not to forget, for being such a gl person like me, the rumours and gossips in our squad. haha will one couple eventually come out from our squad? we can only stay tuned till then. :D

hmm yea everyone is special in the squad. it will be diff if anyone of us is missing, and i am serious. like if yang yee's not in our squad, we will not have the LAO DA. no one to make the big decisions. haha. and will we go to the airport if there's no yang le? yea the woke up at 4.30 just to see yang le off to cheena. will we be able to laugh like mad if there's no hxx in the squad? haha and these are just some stuff. it will take me forever to finish everything.

okay ppl... move on to our 'O's now. we are still bonded as a great squad, and i believe the bond in us is unbreakable. haha i still rmb that we say we want a squad chalet aft 'O's, a 3D2N de hor. haha must keep to our own promise kay? :)

We collected the tins at JE MRT station den zoom off to somerset den walk around...to ask for donations.

Sec One Orientation Camp '09

Morning losers lol kidding.

kays erms council needs our help in the following few segments for OC:

1) Campfire
Basically setting up the whole campfire, the real one, IN THE PARADE SQUARE. this is the first time the student council EXCO has initiated in placing of the real campfire, so they need our help. okay it's a 650 ppl camp so i think the campfire structure should be some what bigger than our annual camp's campfire uh? guys i need your help in setting up the whole campfire.

also, we will be the ones leading cheers during the campfire. there will most probably be no practices for the new sec 1s, so we have to be LOUD.

according to the council president Karine, student leaders will help us, meaning ppl like Wai Hoong, Xin Hua and Chee Choong. meaning the 3 of them would not join us during OC. they will be busy taking care of the new sec 1s XD those who want tell me pls.

i will see how many ppl will be going, which means sth like first come first serve. the previous one on the tagboard one is cancelled. if you want come and tell me personally. tyty.

2) Sentry duty
This one should be have. well we should know what is it all abt aft hearing our seniors telling us :D so also same who wants to go tell me.

There will be this OC meeting most probably on the 29th december and council would like us to go down and discuss abt this campfire and sentry thing with them. Karine will confirm with me the date and location again. so yea lets go ppl. show everyone the power of NP and our squad! haha and ps if i need to discuss this again during squad chalet, but we will have loads of fun there, esp watching 不能说的秘密. XD XD

Hey guys there will be a flag day so do you all want to go? Please inform me asap. Latest by Thursday. Basically there are 4 shifts:
8am-12pm
11am-3pm
2pm-6pm
5pm-8pm

I suggest we do from 8am to 6pm? But you guys can choose your shifts also.

After informing me I will send you guys a form to fill in. As for the age part, you guys just put 15 as the organiser told me that According to the new guidelines by NCSS (National Council of Social Service), Flag Day tin collectors with a minimal age of 15 years are allowed to participate.so we can go.

Haha helping to keep this blog alive, but you all must also come and visit and tag often lar.

Okay two things to settle here.

1) Squad Chalet:
Okay the squad chalet is on the 23rd dec ryt? We have CCA Extravaganza Drill Squad Training Session on the 22nd dec leh. So do you guys want to buy chalet stuff after the training? Comments in tag.

2) Sec 1 Orientation Camp'09
Okay every year NP will be partly involved in this camp. So what we have to do is to teach the sec 1s how to cheer, which is almost like the cheering stuff we did for all our camps and do night sentry duty. Normally council will set a quota on how many people could go. Council will have to liaise with us and see how though. Who wants to go also can book your name @ tagboard first. BTW the camp would be on 16th-17th of January, which is on Friday and Saturday. Haha let's go and play LOL.
